Cacti decked in Christmas lights, festivities everywhere you turn, train rides, and gorgeous weather... That's Christmas in Arizona!

December hiking in Arizona

Let's start with the gorgeous weather...

We get chilly nights, so you can have a fire and wear your cozy clothes. Yet we have days in the 70's, perfect for hiking.

Our favorite thing to do in December is be outside. You'll catch us in the backyard, going for walks, going for hikes, and enjoying meals at our amazing restaurants out on patios.

Festivities

We have Christmas festivals every weekend!

Now we have a lot of traditions, so we have not been able to frequent them all... But there are a ton of accounts that will share them all with you. The next on our list are Christmas at the Princess and Mortimer Farms.

All the train rides

We have Polar Express on the Grand Canyon Railway, A Magical Christmas Journey on the Verde Canyon Railroad, and a spectacular holiday lights spectacle at McCormick - Stillman Railroad Park. News flash, little kids love trains. Train rides are also very fun for adults.

So if you were wondering why all the "snow birds" come to Arizona, there you have it. It's a perfect experience for holidays.

Happy adventuring!
